Orders
An order is accepted when we confirm dispatch, not when it is placed. If an item is mispriced or unavailable we will contact you before charging, and you may cancel without penalty.

What the laboratory range is for
Labware, equipment, storage and the parts we design and print ourselves are supplied for professional and research use. They are not medical devices, they are not supplied for diagnosis or treatment, and they must not be used for either.

What the PPE is for
PPE is supplied to the standard stated on each product page and is intended to protect the wearer against the hazards that standard covers. Selecting the right grade is the purchaser’s responsibility: it follows from your own risk assessment, and a glove or a mask that is appropriate for one hazard may be useless against another.

First aid, wound care and orthopaedic products
These are medical devices and they are supplied for their intended clinical purpose — which is exactly what the rest of the catalogue is not. They are supplied as the manufacturer markets them, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with the instructions for use that come with them. We do not modify them, repackage them or extend the purpose the manufacturer states. Use them in accordance with those instructions. They do not replace a clinical assessment, and if you are not certain a product is right for a particular patient or injury, ask a clinician rather than us.

Warranty
Sourced equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty, at minimum 12 months against manufacturing defect. Parts we manufacture ourselves are warranted against dimensional defect for the life of the part. Normal wear, consumable life and damage from misuse are excluded.

Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Cancelling and returning
Consumers have a statutory right to cancel most orders within 14 days of delivery, and separate rights if goods are faulty or not as described. Those rights, how to use them and the few things they do not cover are set out in full on the Returns page.

Privacy
We store only what is needed to fulfil and support an order, and we do not sell customer data. What we hold, why, how long for and the rights you have over it are set out in full in the Privacy Notice.
