This cassette holds 25 × 2mL cryovials in a closed-cell insulated shell with a positive latch, buying roughly eight minutes above the transition temperature instead of the ninety seconds an open rack gives you. The lid indexes to the grid, so vials cannot rotate out of position in transit.
