3M Scotchcast Casting Tape, 2 inch

3M Scotchcast Casting Tape, 2 inch photographed against a plain background.

Water-activated fibreglass casting tape, 2 inch × 12 feet per roll, boxed 10 per box. The resin cures on contact with water and sets to a rigid, lightweight shell that stays radiolucent. The tape hardens when exposed to air, creating a rigid and durable cast. The 2 inches x 12 foot size is commonly used for wrist and ankle casts. The white colour allows for easy monitoring of skin and circulation.
